# Priority migration

> Get Emailit engineers to move your domains, templates, suppressions and webhooks from another email provider, usually within one business day.

If your current provider suspended your account, raised prices overnight or started landing your mail in spam, Emailit engineers can move you over for you. This page explains what the priority migration service includes, the usual timeline and how to request it. To migrate on your own instead, see [Migrate to Emailit](/docs/migrate/).

## What's included

- A named engineer on email and Discord until you're live.
- Suppression list import, so bounces and unsubscribes carry over.
- Template and contact import from CSV, HTML or ZIP.
- A prioritized review of your [production access](/docs/workspaces/production-access/) request.
- [Sending limits](/docs/limits/) sized for your real volume from day one.
- A deliverability check of your first sends.

## Typical timeline

| When | Step | What happens |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Hour 0 | Request | You send the form. An engineer, not a bot, replies with a migration plan. |
| Hours 1–4 | Domains and DNS | Your sending domains and DNS records are prepared, including [one-click setup on Cloudflare](/docs/domains/cloudflare/). |
| Hours 4–8 | Data and templates | Suppressions, contacts and templates are imported, so no unsubscribe is lost. |
| Day 1 | Switch traffic | You swap API keys or SMTP credentials. Webhooks, logs and alerts work from the first message. |

Most migrations finish within one business day. DNS changes at your provider can take longer to publish.

## Providers

The team migrates customers from Amazon SES, Resend, SendGrid, Postmark, Mailgun, Brevo, SMTP2GO, MailerSend, Elastic Email, Mailchimp, SparkPost and Mandrill. If your provider isn't listed, choose **Other** in the form.

## Request a migration

1. **Open the form.** Go to [emailit.com/migrate](/migrate/) and select **Request priority migration**.

2. **Fill in the details.** Enter **Your name**, **Work email**, **Company** and, optionally, **Website**. Choose your **Current provider**, your **Monthly volume** (Under 10,000, 10,000–100,000, 100,000–1 million, 1–10 million or Over 10 million) and **How urgent is it?** (Today, sending is down; This week; This month; or Just exploring).

3. **Add context.** Optionally pick **What do you send?** (Transactional, Marketing or Both) and use **Anything we should know?** for your domains, current setup and deadlines.

4. **Submit.** Select **Request migration**. Requests go straight to the engineering team, and urgent ones are handled first. Watch your inbox for a reply.

You can also reach the team on [Discord](https://discord.emailit.com). If the form fails, email [support@emailit.com](mailto:support@emailit.com) and mention "priority migration".

## What to have ready

You'll move faster with these at hand:

- **An Emailit account and workspace.** [Sign up](https://dash.emailit.com/register) if you haven't yet. See [Your Emailit account](/docs/account/).
- **DNS access** for each sending domain, or a Cloudflare account you can connect.
- **A list of sending domains** and the From addresses you use.
- **Exports from your old provider:** suppressions or bounces (CSV), contacts (CSV) and templates (HTML or ZIP).
- **Your webhook endpoints** and which events they handle.
- **Where your app sends from:** which services use the API and which use SMTP.
- **Recent volume and bounce rates**, so limits can be sized correctly.

Pricing for the service isn't listed on the migration page. Ask about it in your request if it matters for your decision.
