Our infrastructure

Our own data center. In Prague.

Emailit doesn’t rent servers from a cloud giant or resell another company’s sending service. We built our own infrastructure and run all of it in Prague, Czech Republic, EU. No third party touches your workspace data.

The whole stack

Built, not rented.

Many email providers run on a public cloud, and some resell another company’s sending service. We own and run every layer that touches your data.

Our own data center

Built for Emailit in Prague and run by our own team. Every server that holds your data is in it.

Hardware we own

Servers and storage we bought, installed and maintain ourselves. No machines rented from AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.

Our own network

Our own autonomous system, AS219440, with IPv4 and IPv6 addresses registered to us at RIPE NCC.

Our own mail servers

Every email leaves through mail servers we wrote and operate, from IP addresses we own. No Amazon SES, SendGrid or Mailgun behind the scenes.

Your data on our disks

Emails, attachments, contacts, logs and analytics live in databases we run on our own storage.

Software we build

The API, SMTP relay, dashboard, tracking and analytics are built by our team and run on our hardware.

No third parties

Your data stays with us.

No cloud provider, sending service, analytics vendor or AI company processes your workspace data. Only Emailit does, in Prague.

Stored and processed only on our servers

  • Emails, their content and attachments
  • Recipients, contacts and audiences
  • Templates, campaigns and automations
  • Logs, events and webhook deliveries
  • Opens, clicks and analytics
  • DMARC reports and verification lists

Never handed to

  • Public clouds such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
  • Outsourced sending services
  • Analytics or advertising vendors
  • AI providers

Your emails do leave our network when they’re delivered to your recipients’ mail servers, such as Gmail or Outlook. That’s how email works, and it only happens because you sent them.

Why it matters

One company, one data center.

Fewer hands on your data, and fewer things that can go wrong.

GDPR without the sub-processor chain

Your workspace data stays in the EU. No transfers to US clouds and no list of sub-processors to vet. Our data processing agreement is part of our Terms of Service, so every account is covered.

A smaller attack surface

Every company that handles your data is one more place it can leak. With Emailit there is one, and we answer for it.

Performance we control

No noisy neighbors and no cloud quotas. On average, 1.67 seconds pass between your API call and the inbox.

A reputation we guard

We run our own IP addresses and review new senders before they reach the world, so your deliverability never rides on a shared cloud’s reputation.

Frequently asked questions

Where exactly is my data stored?

In our own data center in Prague, Czech Republic, in the European Union. Your workspace data (emails, attachments, contacts, templates, logs and analytics) is stored and processed there, on hardware we own.

Do you use AWS, Google Cloud or Azure?

No. Emailit doesn’t run on a public cloud. The servers, storage, network and mail servers that handle your data are ours, and so is the software running on them.

Does any third party process my workspace data?

No. No cloud provider, outsourced sending service, analytics vendor or AI company processes your workspace data. Your emails leave our network only when they’re delivered to your recipients’ mail servers.

Does anything run outside your data center?

Only things that never touch your workspace data. This website, our status page and the dashboard’s app files (code, not data) are served from a content delivery network, so they load fast everywhere and the status page stays up even during an outage. Your browser loads your data straight from our API in Prague. Card payments go through our payment provider, which sees billing details only.

Is Emailit GDPR compliant?

Yes. We process your recipient data as your processor, keep it in the EU and give you retention controls to store as little as possible. Our data processing agreement is part of our Terms of Service and applies to every account.

Do you resell another provider’s sending service?

No. Every email is sent by mail servers we built and run ourselves, from IP addresses we own on our own network in Prague.
