FAQ
Can I get a refund?
Your first credit purchase is fully refundable within 30 days if you've sent up to 1,000 emails. Learn what isn't refundable and how to ask.
This article explains when Emailit refunds a payment and how to request one. If you only want to stop future charges, you don’t need a refund: cancel your plan or turn off auto-refill instead.
Symptoms
- You bought credits and Emailit isn’t the right fit.
- You were charged by an auto-refill or a subscription renewal you didn’t expect.
- You want to know what happens to your money if you cancel.
Cause
Emailit’s refund rules:
| Situation | Refund |
|---|---|
| Your first credit purchase, if you ask within 30 days and have sent no more than 1,000 emails | Full refund |
| Credits already used for sent emails, or partly used purchases outside the case above | Not refundable |
| Violations of the Acceptable Use Policy | Not refundable |
Purchased credits never expire, so unused credits stay available in your workspace even if you switch plans or stop sending for a while.
Fix
-
Stop future charges first. In WorkspaceBilling, turn off Auto-refill on the Workspace plan tab. To end a Pro or Business subscription, switch the workspace back to Pay as you go. Only workspace admins can change billing. See Auto-refill and Plans.
-
Find the payment. Open the Invoices tab and note the invoice Number, Date and Amount.
-
Check your usage. On the Billable usage tab, check how many emails you’ve sent. The first-purchase refund applies if you’ve sent no more than 1,000.
-
Contact support within 30 days. Contact support from the email address on your account. Include the workspace name, the invoice number and a short reason.
For billing questions that aren’t about refunds, such as invoices, tax IDs or billing addresses, see Invoices. For prices and plan details, see pricing.
Still stuck?
Contact support with your invoice number. For billing questions, email is faster than Discord because support can look up your account.
