We’re introducing Automations, a way to build workflows that react to events in your account and take action automatically. Available to everyone, no subscription required.

What you can build

Contact & Audience automations

Trigger workflows when contacts or subscribers are created, updated, or deleted. A few examples:

• Onboarding sequences - Send a series of emails over days or weeks when a new subscriber joins an audience
• Welcome emails - Greet new contacts the moment they’re added
• Birthday & anniversary emails - Send personalized messages on special dates

Email event automations

React to email delivery events in real time:

• Bounce notifications - Get notified whenever an email bounces so you can act immediately
• Suppression prevention - Automatically unsuppress your own email addresses that were incorrectly added to the suppression list
• Email forwarding - Forward emails received on your inbound address to another mailbox or service

You can start from one of our premade automations or build one entirely from scratch.

Pricing

Automations are available on our Pay-as-you-go plan with no subscription fee. Each automation run costs 3 credits. A run starts every time a trigger fires and the workflow begins executing.

All actions within a run are free, except sending or forwarding emails. Those cost the standard 1 credit per email.

Beta

Automations is one of the most complex features we’ve shipped so far, so we’re releasing it as a Beta. We’re starting with the most requested workflow types: simple, focused automations that solve real problems.

Over time we’ll be opening up new actions, triggers, and features that will eventually give you a fully event-driven automation system. We want to get it right, and your feedback is the fastest way to get there.
