How-to
Workspace requests
Ask the Emailit team for production access, a custom plan or a dedicated IP, follow the conversation, and request higher sending limits from the Dashboard.
Some changes need a person at Emailit to review them. Workspace requests are how you ask, and each one has a status and a conversation thread. This page covers the three request types, the fields they ask for, and the separate Request Increase form for sending limits.
Request types
| Type | What it’s for | Where you create it | Who can create it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Workspace Verification | Production access, so you can send to anyone | Sandbox banner > Request production access, or WorkspaceSettingsRequests > Request Verification | Admins |
| Custom plan | Volume pricing, invoicing or terms beyond Business | WorkspaceBilling > Plans > Custom > Contact sales | Admins and Members |
| Dedicated IP | One or more IP addresses reserved for your workspace | WorkspaceBilling > Add-ons > Dedicated IP > Contact sales | Admins and Members |
Each workspace can have one pending request of each type. Trying to open a second one shows, for example, “A pending custom plan request already exists”. After you submit, the dashboard opens the request’s page.
The verification form is covered in Production access.
Custom plan and dedicated IP fields
Both forms open a Contact sales dialog. Every field is required.
| Field | Options |
|---|---|
| Company size | 1 to 10, 11 to 50, 51 to 200, 201 to 1,000, 1,000+ |
| Annual revenue | Under $1M, $1M to $10M, $10M to $50M, $50M to $100M, $100M+ |
| Annual email volume | Under 100,000; 100,000 to 1,000,000; 1,000,000 to 10,000,000; 10,000,000 to 50,000,000; 50,000,000+ |
| How many dedicated IPs | Dedicated IP requests only: 1 IP, 2 IPs, 3 IPs, 4 IPs, 5 or more IPs |
| Describe your needs | 10 to 2,000 characters |
For a dedicated IP, say how much you send per day and whether you need separate IPs for transactional and marketing mail. See Dedicated IPs and pricing.
Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending Review | Waiting for the Emailit team. |
| Awaiting Your Reply | The team asked a question. When you reply, the status goes back to Pending Review. |
| Approved | Done. For verification, the workspace is now in production. |
| Rejected | Not approved. The conversation explains why. You can submit a new request. |
Follow a request
-
Open the list. Go to WorkspaceSettingsRequests. Each row shows Type, Status and Submitted. You can filter the list.
-
Open the request. Select a row. The left side shows what you submitted, along with when it was submitted and reviewed. The right side is the conversation.
-
Reply. Type in Write a reply… and select Send, or press Cmd+Enter (Ctrl+Enter on Windows). Replies from Emailit are marked Team.
Anyone in the workspace can read and reply to requests. Emailit doesn’t email you when the team replies, so check the request page. Once a request is approved or rejected, the conversation closes and shows “This request has been approved” or “This request has been rejected”.
Request higher sending limits
Sending limit increases use a separate form on the Dashboard, not a workspace request.
-
Open the form. On the Dashboard, find Sending Limits and select Request Increase. The dialog shows your Current Limits.
-
Enter what you need. Fill in every field:
Field Allowed values Requested Emails per Second 1 to 50 Requested Emails per Day 1 to 100,000 Requested Subscribers per Audience 1 to 1,000,000 Source of Email List 5 to 500 characters Reason for Increase 10 to 1,000 characters -
Submit. Select Submit Request.
The request goes to the support team by email, together with your sending statistics for the last three months: emails sent, unique recipients, bounces and bounce rate. It doesn’t appear under Requests. The team usually reviews it within 24 hours and contacts you by email.
A low bounce rate and a clear opt-in source make approval faster. On Pro and Business, limits also rise automatically while sending health stays good. See Limits and quotas.
